WELCOME AND NAMASTE!

We want your stay in Ireland to be comfortable, relaxing, insightful and transformational. We are here to support you when needed, but also to help you to discover your own strength and power. Here is all the information you will need before your trip.

Please Note: there is information that needs to be submitted before your arrival in Ireland, so please review this website and click the check boxes at the bottom to ensure all information is submitted.

ARRIVING IN IRELAND

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

When arriving in Dublin, you will go through Immigration and Customs.  If you are on the group shuttle, we will be meeting at The Fleet Hotel in Dublin at 12:30pm on Monday, August 5th. For those traveling in on Monday, please give yourself time to navigate the airport and arrive at the pick up location on time.

If you will not be on the shuttle, we recommend arriving at The Creacon Wellness Retreat by mid-day on the start of the retreat as we will start that evening.  

If you want to stay at The Fleet Hotel or an AirBnB before or after the retreat, we suggest to book in advance. For AirBnB, you can use this link for a discount if it’s your first time!

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

US citizens will need a valid passport for entry into Ireland and evidence of onward travel to exit the country (either return to US or travel to another country). You may visit Ireland for up to 90 days without a visa.

Please make a copy or take a photo of your passport and email it to yourself so you have one on file.

FLIGHT INFORMATION AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Please submit your flight information below. Also, please let us know if you will be on the shuttle to/from the resort so we can get a final transportation count.

*The shuttle can (at times) be a bit of a bumpy ride.  If you get car sick, ask to sit up front, and be prepared with things like- ginger, peppermint oil, Dramamine, etc!

IN CASE OF TROUBLES ON DAY OF TRAVEL

Should you have flight delays or other troubles on the day of travel, contact Heather Rex as soon as possible. We will be tracking your flights, so should you be delayed, we will have that information.  If you opted in for the shuttle, we will NOT leave without you, should you have flight delays. Should the delay be extensive, we will contact you with alternate transportation plans.

Please complete the online waiver at the bottom of this webpage.  Your safety is our main concern and we want to make sure we relay all safety information needed for this trip. Once submitted, you are good to go.  Please let us know should you have any questions.

​GETTING READY FOR YOUR TRIP

PACKING YOUR BAGS

We highly suggest you pack light. You will not want to have to lug around a lot of excess luggage. Keep in mind when choosing what clothes to pack. Nylon or quick drying fabrics work very well. Keep valuables to an absolute minimum.  We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Think less is more! Some more packing tips below:
  1. We recommend a sturdy bag, easy to pull or push or carry. Rolling clothes instead of normal folding works wonders too in saving space.
  2. Carry your daypack with you on the first day as your carry on. Keep your valuables in your daypack - i.e.: passport, money, ticket, journal, etc.  We recommend you pack one set of clothes in it should your suitcase get lost.

None of these scheduled items are mandatory.  If you would like to take the entire afternoon and not meet for lunch, that is completely up to you. If you would like to sleep in and go straight to breakfast, that is completely up to you. This is YOUR trip and you can attend as little or as many sessions as you like.

BOOK ADDITIONAL SERVICES

If you would like additional services during your free time while in Ireland, you can go about this two different ways.
  1. If you would like a service from one of our instructors, select service from the list below. Once processed, an instructor will reach out to you personally to scheudle day/time that works best for your schedule.
  2. If you would like a service from the Creacon Wellness Retreat Center, review their menu of services and decide which days would be best for you.  All additional services booked through Creacon can be booked onsite upon arrival.

COMMUNICATION WHILE IN IRELAND

TIPS FOR USING YOUR CELLPHONE WHILE IN IRELAND

Roaming and data charges in Ireland can break your budget if you're not careful. These tips will keep you connected affordably.
  1. Turn your data off when in Ireland! Or keep your phone in airplane mode. Every little ‘ping' counts against your data plan- and will result in a higher-than-expected bill when you return home.
  2. Contact your cellular provider and inquire about using your mobile phone in Ireland. Confirm that your device is compatible with GSM (Global System for Mobile) used in Europe, and then inquire about an International plan which includes both talk minutes and data. Some providers also have a ‘use it like you do at home' option for an additional cost per day. 
  3. Rent a mobile wifi unit. Most car rental companies now offer the option of adding a mobile wifi unit to your rental. Their rates, however, are high. For mobile wifi in Ireland I recommend Wifi Candy. Their prices are affordable and data is unlimited for the duration of your rental. Tip: WifiCandy also offers power kit rentals so you can keep your wifi device, phones, and other small electronics charged when you're on the go!
  4. Use free wifi and connect with Skype, Facetime, or Google Voice. Creacon provides Wi-Fi facilities for its guests. The hotel does not accept responsibility in the event that these facilities are unavailable to the guest for whatever reason.
